CONNECT is the annual Design & Illustration networking event at Tyler School of Art & Architecture. This event is curated by the students, for the students.
This is a collabrative project with fellow classmates, this event was made possible with the help of Ava Mathis, Ashley Yang, Keilan Holmes, Mai Pham, and Emily Trinh.
IDENTITY
The identity of the event this year is meant to inspire designers and illustrators to unapologetically be themselves. With loud colors to show our voices making an impact, and sharp shapes that are remininsence of paper cutouts to emphasize the handmade human aspects behind every design we make.
As the design manager of the project, I oversaw a team of designers in the process and deliverables. My main contribution was being in charge of the designing the brand and making sure teammates are on track and exploring every possible option for concepts. Other than developing the final identity, I also worked on merchandise for the event and wayfinding for the Illustration Show.
